PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a button lock capable of reducing the depth dimension of a device more than before without impairing the operability and increasing the application fields of the device. SOLUTION: This button lock includes a dial 36 (37, 38) which is rotatable to a movement permissible position where the movement of a sense cam 32 from an unlocking inhibiting position to an unlocking permissible position is allowed and to a movement inhibiting position where the movement of the sense cam 32 from the unlocking inhibiting position to the unlocking permissible position is prohibited and a bush button 52 (53, 54) which is disposed so as to be movable in the direction perpendicular to the rotating center axis of the dial 36 (37, 38) and rotates the dial 36 (37, 38) a predetermined angle according to the movement. When a locking bar 14 is at a lock position, the locking bar 14 can be moved to the unlocking position by moving the sense cam 32 from the unlocking inhibiting position to the unlocking permissible position after the dial 36 (37, 38) is rotated from the movement inhibiting position to the movement permissible position by the push button 52 (53, 54).
