<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide eyeglasses with temples for protecting the center of a lens from abrasion. <P>SOLUTION: Eyeglasses 100 includes a face 110 and temples 120, 130. The face 110 includes an outer surface including an outer edge. The face also includes a first end portion and a first lens opening. The outer edge is proximate to the first end portion. Each of the temples 120, 130 includes a portion defining an inner surface. Each of the temples 120, 130 is pivotably coupled to the first end portion of the face 110.
