<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam machining apparatus capable of efficiently and adequately executing the laser beam machining of a workpiece while reducing the size, the weight and the cost of the apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The laser beam machining apparatus includes a laser beam apparatus 2 for emitting the harmonic laser beam of the lateral mode single, optical fibers 7 of the single mode in a large mode area having the core diameter of≥28 times and≤36 times of the wavelength of the harmonic laser beam, a machining head 8, and a moving means 10 for moving the machining head 8 to the machining position of a workpiece 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
