<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controller having an individual authentication function, which ensures security while minimizing system modification of the body of an information processor. <P>SOLUTION: The communication controller 20 authenticates a user by use of an authentication server 40 to permit use of an information processor 10 that includes an information processor body 11 and an input part 12 receiving input from the outside. The communication controller includes: a switching part 100 connected between the information processor body 11 and the input part 12; and an authentication information processing part 200 connected to the authentication server 40 via a communication network 50, to perform individual authentication.
