PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer method capable of efficiently transferring a powder. SOLUTION: The transfer method for the powder is a method for transferring the powder from one end part 5 side of the transfer pipe 1 having an opening/closing valve 2 to the other end part 6 side. Even at any time when the opening/closing valve 2 is opened and closed, a gas for cleaning the inside of the transfer pipe 1 is fed from a space between the one end part 5 and the opening/closing valve 2.
