PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplifier that further saves power, area, and manufacturing cost, and an apparatus using the same. SOLUTION: In the class EMamplifier, a main circuit includes: an input terminal connected to a first constant voltage source; a first inductor connected thereto; a first switching element having a drain region connected thereto; a first capacitor connected to the first inductor and connected in parallel to the first switching element; a first bandpass filter connected to the first inductor; an output terminal connected thereto and connected to a load; a second capacitor connected to the first bandpass filter; a third capacitor connected thereto; a first resistor connected to the input terminal; a second resistor connected thereto; and a second inductor connected to wiring for connecting the second capacitor to the third capacitor, and wiring for connecting the first resistor, the second resistor and the second inductor to one another.
