PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer film which is excellent in interlayer adhesion, gas-barrier properties, handleability, sealability, and compatibility to medical use and in which the occurrence of fold whitening is suppressed, and to provide a container. SOLUTION: The multilayer film 10 has an adhesion-barrier layer 2 between a barrier layer 3 and a seal layer 1. The barrier layer 3 contains 65-85 mass% of a cyclic olefin resin and 15-35 mass% of linear low density polyethylene, and has a thickness of 10-60μm. The adhesion-barrier layer 2 contains 5-70 mass% of a cyclic olefin resin and 30-95 mass% of a polystyrene elastomer, wherein the product of the content of the polystyrene elastomer and the cube of the thickness of the adhesion-barrier layer 2 is 4,000-160,000 (mass%×μm<SP>3</SP>). The seal layer 1 has a thickness of 5-80μm and is made of an olefinic resin. The multilayer film 10 is shaped into the container. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
