摘要 <p>Provided is a manufacturing method capable of sufficiently avoiding the danger of explosion due to reaction gases or the like remaining inside a reaction device when manufacturing an effective oxidized organic compound using an industrial-scale catalytic gas-phase oxidation reaction even when operation is temporarily interrupted for periodic inspections or emergency stoppages or the like, and also capable of reducing the period of time until a reaction is returned to a stable normal state when restarting operation, and further capable of significantly improving productivity by eliminating drops in yield after restarting operation and stably maintaining high yield over a long period of time. This oxidized organic compound manufacturing method includes a step of using a fixed bed reactor having a reaction pipe filled with an oxide catalyst to supply at least one type of organic compound as a reaction gas, and producing an oxidized organic compound by performing a catalytic gas-phase oxidation reaction with a molecular oxygen-containing gas, and a step of stopping the catalytic gas-phase oxidation reaction, wherein, when stopping the catalytic gas-phase oxidation reaction, supply of the reaction gas is stopped, an inert gas is supplied to the reactor, the molecular oxygen-containing gas is supplied, and then supply of the molecular oxygen-containing gas to the reactor is stopped.</p>
