<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability of a display device which is operated by approach of a person's region. <P>SOLUTION: A method for controlling the display device including a display panel 50 for displaying contents, a detection sensor 60 arranged in the periphery of the display panel 50 to detect the approach of a person's region and a display light 55 arranged in the vicinity of the detection sensor 60 to indicate that the detection sensor 60 detects the region by light emission, includes: a process for displaying a content on the display panel 50; a process for detecting the approach of a person's region by the detection sensor 60; a process which when the detection sensor 60 detects the region, increases the light emission quantity of the display light 55 arranged in the vicinity of the detection sensor 60; a process which when the region further approaches, displays a guide bar 95 for guiding the region from one side of the display panel 50 to the other opposite side on the display panel 50; and a process for changing the display of a content to be displayed on the display panel 50 according to the movement of the region from one side to the other side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
