<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a light output of an organic light-emitting diode device. <P>SOLUTION: The organic light-emitting diode device consists of: (a) a substrate; (b) an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) including a first electrode formed on the substrate, an organic light-emitting material layer formed on the first electrode, and a second electrode formed on the organic light-emitting material layer to define a light-emitting area, wherein the light emitted from the OLED has a possibility of being subjected to undesired wave guiding in the device; and (c) a geographic feature located within the light-emitting area for disrupting the wave guiding, whereby the light-emitting efficiency of the light-emitting area is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
