<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily obtain information to be notified in broadcasting programs from electronic program guides, and to contribute to an increase in program ratings of the broadcasting programs. <P>SOLUTION: An information reception apparatus (broadcast receiver 30) includes: an electronic program information obtaining section (a tuner 33 and a control section 32) for obtaining electronic program information from a specific server providing the electronic program information, or a specific broadcasting station providing the electronic program information; a notification information obtaining section (a DEMUX section 34 and the control section 32) for obtaining information included in the electronic program information obtained by the electronic program information obtaining section, or information notified in the broadcast program from information transmitted along with the electronic program information; and a notification information output section (the control section 32 and a video sound output section 36) for outputting the electronic program information, and for outputting information indicating the presence or absence of the notification information based on the information obtained by the notification information obtaining section. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
