METHOD FOR PRODUCING FIBROUS NONWOVEN WEB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fibrous nonwoven web having bulkiers and uniformity and expressing a favorable recovery in compression.

SOLUTION: The method for producing nonwoven fibrous webs includes: (a) a step of extruding a flow of fibers from an extruder to a two parallel collectors which are arranged at a short distance therebetween with the parallelly-separated surfaces defining a space between the collectors, while the both move in the traveling direction of the flow of the fibers; (b) a step of introducing crimped staple fibers, having the crimp of at least 15% before the flow of the fiber reaches the collectors while being present in an amount of at least 5% of the weight of the directly-formed fibers, into the flow of the fibers; and (c) a step of collecting the fibers to the space between the collectors for forming a web in the fibers.
