<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stacking container which can surely partition a content, and the capacity of which can be selected accurately corresponding to the size and the volume of the content, and furthermore can be stacked with many kinds of variations. <P>SOLUTION: The container includes a square container 1 in which a storage part 4 is composed of a square bottom 2 and a standing peripheral wall 3 with four faces and an upper face is opened and the peripheral wall 3 is thick and a square engaging protrusion 5 is formed at a position at an inner side by an amount of a thickness from the edge of the bottom outer face, and a rectangular container 13 the longitudinal length of which is the same as the one-side length of the square container 1 and the lateral length of which has an integral multiple length of the one side length and the upper face of which is opened and the peripheral wall 3, 33 of which have the same thicknesses and heights as those of the peripheral wall 3 of the square container, on the bottom outer face of which the square engaging protrusions 5, 5, 5 are formed at a position where the square container 1 is arranged in the long side direction.
