<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive circuit that prevents braking when a power supply voltage is equal to or lower than a predetermined value, while suppressing a rise in a voltage on the occurrence of a kickback at low cost. <P>SOLUTION: The motor drive circuit includes first and second power supply lines connected with and shunted from a power supply that produces input voltage, an H-bridge circuit, and a control means for controlling switching of the H-bridge circuit.
