<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device with an automatic document paper feeding device, provided with a sufficient handling property of a user capable of performing setting of next performed action even during action of the device, not generating a wasteful working time in an interruption mode and capable of shortening a working time. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is provided with: a document tray of a plurality of stages for placing a plurality of sheets of documents and feeding the document one by one; and an automatic document paper feeding means provided with a conveying means for controlling conveying of the document tray of the plurality of stages. Setting regarding selection of the document tray and action of the image forming device can be performed by an operation means receiving operation of the user, and further during action, setting regarding action of the image forming device using the other document tray can be performed. When it is determined that the no document remains by a document detection means and a paper detection means of the document tray during use for action, since setting of the automatically used document tray and the previously set action of the image forming device is switched and acted, setting can be performed without waiting, and action of different setting is continuously performed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
