PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover minimizing contamination of dirt and dust in a boring tool with a dust collector attachable thereto and detachable therefrom, by covering a suction port of the boring tool when the dust collector is removed. SOLUTION: In the boring tool includes a housing body and the dust collector for collecting dust generated from a workpiece to be bored, the dust collector is attachable to and detachable from the housing body, and the attachable-detachable cover 80 is installed therein which forms an air passage extended from the suction portion of the housing body when the dust collector is removed from the boring tool. The cover 80 has the air passage extended in a vertical direction to a rotary shaft of a tip tool. The air passage opens downward. Grooves 84 are formed in the cover.
