<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically delete artifact caused by metallic reinforcement and filling in a dental three-dimensional image. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A metal artifact caused by metal is generated radially on a tomographic image. A three-dimensional image formed according to X-ray CT imaging is displayed, a virtual plane vertical to the X-ray CT imaging plane is formed, and a region having CT value within a predetermined threshold and also the number of pixels less than a predetermined value is predetermined as artifact and eliminated.
