<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial nail on which a three-dimensional art parts may be easily mounted in any position and from which the art parts is easily detached, and a method for mounting the art parts on the artificial nail. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An acrylic solution 14 is placed on the artificial nail 10 mounted on a natural nail 12, a surface of the placed and hardened acrylic solution 14 is recessed, a fastener 18 having a female part 18a is fixed on the recessed part 18 via an adhesive, and the art parts 16 including the other fastener 18 having a male part 18b for fitting the female part 18a of the fastening part 18 is mounted. Consequently, the art parts 16 is easily mounted on the artificial nail 10, allowing the art parts 16 to be easily detached and changed according to time, place and occasion.
