PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a grill unit and a heating cooker including the same, capable of suppressing lowering speed of a grill door in a pull-down mechanism and reducing uncomfortable impact noise etc. SOLUTION: The grill unit includes: a box-shaped grill chamber 11 mounted with fixed guide rails 14a, 14b; and a grill door device 20 having a grill door 21 for opening/closing an opening of the grill chamber 11, slide rails 23a, 23b slidably fitted to the fixed guide rails 14a, 14b and pull-down arms 31a, 31b rotatably journaled to rear ends of the slide rails 23a, 23b and having front ends supporting the grill door 21. The grill unit further includes coil springs 52 which are elastic members stretched between the slide rails 23a, 23b and the pull-down arms 31a, 31b and restricting lowering of the grill door 21 by its own weight to a predetermined position when the grill door 12 is lowered due to its own weight around journaling parts of the pull-down arms 31a, 31b by the slide rails 23a, 23b with the grill door 21 drawn out from the grill chamber 11 to a predetermined position.
