Rotor for turbomachines with shrouded blades comprising a row (3) of blades (4) covered by an external ring (5), coaxial to said row (3) of blades (4); the external ring (5) being composed of a plurality of sectors (6), commonly referred to as shrouds, which are adjacent to one another and transversely and circumferentially attached to the end of respective blades (4); a damping member (16) being arranged so as to straddle a respective pair of adjacent sectors (6a, 6b) and being pushed, in use, against radially internal surfaces (13) of the sectors (6) of the pair of adjacent sectors (6).
