<p>A method and system for implementing handover of a terminal from a Home NodeB to macro cell system and maintenance of conversation are provided in the present invention, and the terminal has a conversation with a far-end equipment via HNB system, and the connection of conversation includes the IMS media connection M1 between HNB and the far-end equipment; when the terminal requires the handover to macro cell system, the HNB establishes the connection M2 to the IWF of HNB system, and initiates the handover to macro cell system through IWF to the object MSC of CS core network, and then the terminal performs the handover from Home NodeB to macro cell system, and establishes the circuit switch connection M3 to the object MSC; after the handover is performed, the HNB or HNB Gateway of HNB system connects the IMS media connection M1 and the connection M2, then forms the conversation path between the terminal and the far-end equipment through the circuit switch connection M3, the connection M2 and the IMS media connection M1, which reduces the time of the handover from Home NodeB to macro cell system for the terminal, and ensures a short interrupt time of media stream.</p> |
