INVERTER CIRCUIT

A current-balanced push-pull inverter circuit comprises first and second switching elements and first and second primary windings connected in series between the first and second switching elements, and further comprises an output transformer including a secondary winding for obtaining an output voltage. The inverter circuit still further comprises a first power supply capacitor, a second power supply capacitor, and a controller. A first free-wheel diode is connected in reverse parallel with and a first snubber circuit, in which first and second snubber capacitors are connected in series, is connected to the first switching element. First and second discharge resistors are connected between the first snubber capacitor and the first power supply capacitor and between the second snubber capacitor and the second power supply capacitor, respectively. A second snubber circuit and discharge resistors are connected to the second switching element as in the first switching element.
