PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet having excellent contactness of the helmet in the case of wearing the helmet by a person and a size-adjusting device for a head band enabling easy adjustment of the size of the head band with a single hand. SOLUTION: The size-adjusting device 3 for the head band includes: the head band 5 having a straight part 13, a first circular arc part 15 and a second circular arc part 17 to form a band, wherein the circular arc parts 15, 17 form a downwardly convex form at the back of a helmet body 7 in the case of engaging the circular arc parts 15, 17 with each other to form a loop and attaching the loop to the helmet body 7 of the helmet 1; a head band guide 9 to guide the circular arc parts 15, 17; and a head band-adjusting body 11 to change the size of the loop head band 5 by rotating the body.
