<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition useful for the preparation of a gas separation membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The composition comprises a polyvinyl alcohol, an aliphatic polyamine, a polyglycidyl ether, and a salt of a 3C-5C heterocyclic aliphatic amino acid; or comprises a crosslinked polyvinyl alcohol comprising structural units derived from a polyglycidyl ether, a polyamine and a salt of a 3C-5C heterocyclic aliphatic amino acid. The composition is useful for the preparation of a gas separation membrane in which the 3C-5C amino cycloaliphatic acid in the form of its salt functions as a mobile carrier of carbon dioxide. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
