<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for estimating sound source positions by extracting arbitrary portions of measurement data at site. <P>SOLUTION: Sound information and video information are simultaneously sampled by a sound/video sampling unit 10, where a plurality of microphones M1-M5 are integrated with a camera 12. Audio waveform data, namely sound information, and image data, namely video information, are stored in a storage means 24. Only sound pressure waveform data is extracted from the storage means 24 to display a graph of a time series waveform of a sound pressure level on a display screen 25M of a display means 25. Time t<SB>z</SB>for analysis of a sound source direction is designated on the graph. Then, the sound pressure waveform data of analysis time length T<SB>w</SB>with the designated time t<SB>z</SB>as the center are used, and the phase difference between sound pressure signals of the sound sampled by the plurality of microphones M1-M5 is calculated to estimate the direction of the sound source. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
