<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To show the connection position of a non-guidance branch road without causing a feeling of troublesomeness to a user when route guidance information for guiding user's own vehicle from a current location to a destination is displayed. <P>SOLUTION: When the route guidance information including a road chart showing a guided route for user's own vehicle from the current location to the destination and a direction instruction chart showing a direction in which user's own vehicle should travel with respect to a guidance branch road at which the guidance direction for user's own vehicle changes, when a non-guidance branch road at which the guidance direction for user's own vehicle does not change crosses the guided route, a road chart showing the guided route which is discontinuous at a position at which the non-guidance branch road crosses is displayed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
