<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of estimating a camber of hot rolled steel sheet with good accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of estimating a camber amount of a metal strip at room temperature, the surface temperature distribution of the steel sheet after cooling of a run-out table is measured in a sheet width direction and in a rolling direction, equilibrium calculation is carried out using thermal strain at a time point when the temperature distribution becomes uniform at room temperature after cooling, so as to obtain the camber amount by the thermal strain, and a geometric camber amount is obtained at the same time when temperature measurement in the sheet width direction and in the rolling direction is carried out in a fixed point temperature measurement method, or a geometric camber amount measured from a swing amount brought by a separately installed displacement sensor is obtained in order to overlap the camber amount by the thermal strain and the geometric camber amount. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
