<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technology useful to authentication processing when a service providing provider provides a service that needs individual authentication of an entrance examination, various issuing, or the like. <P>SOLUTION: The authentication device includes a user information managing means and a determining means. In the user information managing means, a user requesting a service is managed by storing biometric authentication information registered beforehand by the user requesting a service provided at a service providing place and code information given to the user at the service providing place. In the determining means, whether the user himself/herself requesting the service exists at the service providing place (whether to be a proper right owner) is determined by collating code information obtained and transmitted by a portable terminal belonging to the user with code information stored in the user information managing means and collating the user's biometric authentication information obtained and transmitted by the portable terminal with biometric authentication information stored in the user information managing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
