<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically or semi-automatically perform "input of found article information" by only a minimum operation of "imaging of found article" in a system capable of intensively managing found article information via a network. <P>SOLUTION: A tag is automatically assigned to a photographic image of found article, whereby a database allowing search and management of images of found articles with the tag as a key can be constructed. Thus, an operation such as manual labeling of each found article can be eliminated. A loser can search a lost article the loser falls from the database using the tag as the key. Further, even when found article information matched to a search condition designated by the loser is searched, the found article information is not output as it is, but presented through authentication such that the loser is caused to select a partial image from the partial image and a dummy image.
