<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic key system capable of inhibiting the unintended locking and unlocking of a door lock. <P>SOLUTION: This electronic key system includes: a key free function of making an ID code signal Sid automatically transmitted to the outside of a vehicle from an electronic key 1 by making the electronic key 1 respond to a request signal Srq transmitted from the vehicle 2, and of making the door lock automatically unlocked in the case of establishment of ID verification by the ID code signal Sid; and a wireless door lock function of locking and unlocking the door lock of the vehicle 2 by a remote-control operation performed by operating the electronic key 1. When doors 31-35 of the vehicle 2 are operated to be closed, the door lock is automatically locked by the key free function. The electronic key system further includes a delayed locking performing portion 21c which performs the automatic locking of the door lock by the key free function later than usual, when it detects that the doors 32-35 are operated to be unlocked or closed, after the door lock is unlocked by the wireless door lock function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
