PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle traveling support system capable of supporting proper leading of a following car by a leading car, and preventing the following car from straying from the leading car. SOLUTION: This system includes: a visual field calculation means 29 for extracting from map data, height information on a following car position, and height information on a feature existing in a domain in a prescribed range in front of the following car position based on the following car position informed of by a following car position informing means 3, and calculating a three-dimensional visual field in front of the following car; a first determination means 31 for performing first determination based on a calculation result by the visual field calculation means 29 and on a detection result by a leading car position detection means 23; and an alarm means 32 for issuing an alarm that the following car 2 may stray from the leading car 5, when acquiring a negative determination result in the first determination.
