PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus efficiently performing a plurality of calculation processes. SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus includes a calculation unit and executes a plurality of calculation processes. The information processing apparatus determines whether to interrupt a second calculation process operating in the calculation unit to start a first calculation process, on the basis of the cost generated when switching from the second calculation process to the first calculation process. In particular, when a first calculation unit and a second calculation unit are included, and the first calculation process operating in the first calculation unit is interrupted to release the first calculation unit, the information processing apparatus determines whether to interrupt the second calculation process operating in the second calculation unit to start the first calculation process, on the basis of the cost generated when switching from the second calculation process to the first calculation process.
