PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: an olefin polymer obtained from a Ziegler catalyst or an olefin polymerization catalyst having, as a constitutional component, one type of transition metal compound; an olefin polymerization catalyst capable of producing an olefin polymer excellent in transparency and having the same heat resistance and mechanical strength as those of the blend of the olefin polymers; and a method of producing an olefin polymer using the olefin polymerization catalyst. SOLUTION: The olefin polymerization catalyst comprises components (A) and (B): metallocene compounds of two Group-IV elements in the periodic table different from each other, a component (C): an activation co-catalyst, a component (D): an organic zinc compound, a component (E): an organic aluminum compound, and if necessary, a component (H): a solid carrier.
