<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a switch while maintaining click feel during operation of a knob. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A switch 1 includes a knob 10 rotatable around a first axis X, a push plate 20 tilting in a direction determined in accordance with the rotating direction of the knob 10, and a push switch constituted of a stationary contact 41 and a movable contact 42 for making contact with and separable from the stationary contact 41. The push plate 20 includes pressing parts 26a, 26b to turn on the push switch by making the movable contact 42 positioned in the tilting direction abut on the stationary contact 41, when the push plate is tilted by being operated by a knob leg 13 extending from the knob 10. A steel ball 52 biased by a spring 51 is made to abut on the lower end of the push plate 20 in a body case 4, and the steel ball is made to support the push plate 20 so that it tilts while energizing it toward the knob 10 side.
