The device (2) has two mounting parts (4, 5) containing a lower contact surface for fixing of the parts at a bearing surface of a hand-held firearm i.e. repeating rifle, and clamping elements for detachable attachment of the parts at the firearm. A centering pin (8) is arranged between the clamping elements and provided with a conical centering area (9) to contact with a counter-conical centering borehole (10) at the firearm in one of the parts. The parts are integrally arranged at a common assembly rail (3). The centering pin is arranged in the parts in a height adjustable manner.
