Provided is a coaxial cable (1) equipped with an internal conductor (11), a dielectric (12) made from a foamed resin on the outer periphery of said internal conductor, an external conductor (14) on the outer periphery of said dielectric, and a casing (15) on the outer periphery of said external conductor. The dielectric includes a nucleating foaming agent. By foaming a resin that includes a nucleating foaming agent to form the dielectric, the rate of expansion is maintained below 60% and deterioration in the insulation properties of the dielectric and the electrical conductivity of the internal conductor due to laser heat during terminal processing of the cable terminal is prevented, and low capacitance in the coaxial cable is achieved.
