摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacitor which can further raise discharge and charge cycle characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: The capacitor 10 has a positive electrode 20 containing carbon material, a negative electrode 16 containing lithium transition metal nitride (the transition metal is at least any one of Fe, Co, Ni and Cu), and electrolyte 36 which is interposed between the positive electrode 20 and the negative electrode 16, conducts lithium ion and contains at least propylene carbonate (PC). The positive electrode 20 can contain activated carbon of specific surface area of 1,000 m<SP>2</SP>/g or more as a carbon material, or can contain graphite of specific surface area of 20 m<SP>2</SP>/g or less as a carbon material.
