<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio IC tag and a method of reading a radio IC tag, capable of reducing the failure to read a radio IC tag. <P>SOLUTION: The radio IC tag system includes: a cart (14) that can be transferred while carrying a subject (10) to be conveyed that has a radio IC tag (12) attached thereto; a plurality of radio antennas (21, 22, 23) disposed on an antenna unit (16) on the path of transfer of the cart and radiating communication electric waves for the radio IC tag; a radio IC reference tag (18) disposed on the cart and achieving stable radio communication performance with respect to each of the radio antennas when the subject to be conveyed is not loaded on the cart; and a control means (42) which determines the situation of communication between each of the radio antennas and the radio IC reference tag while the subject to be conveyed is loaded on the cart and which causes the radio antenna in a worsened situation of communication to radiate the communication waves preferentially over the radio antenna in a situation of communication that is not worsened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
