<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material composition and a finishing method, more specifically, a finish coating material for applying to a coating material for textured finishes of buildings and a method for finishing a coating material for textured finishes of buildings, which can impart designability to a wall surface, i.e., a vertical plane by in-situ application and form a wall surface having multi-color changes. <P>SOLUTION: The finish coating material composition for a coating material for textured finishes of buildings includes a binder resin, a light-transmissible interference pigment and flat flake, which is characterized that the flat flake is mica. The finishing method for textured finishes of buildings is effected by applying a coating material for textured finishes of buildings to a wall surface and drying the same and then applying the finish coating material composition and drying the same to finish the wall surface. Designability provided by the coating material composition has high visibility, different from the glitter as a pearlescent pigment or mica alone gives off, because flat flakes have reflected lights of different colors in relation with the environment to which flat flakes are applied and the viewing angle while on the other hand flat flakes allows lights to be localized and reflected on the surface of the flat flake and has a characteristic distinctive of the designability not provided by the conventional finish coating material because the entire surface of the wall is constituted of flat flakes under various conditions. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
