PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric sensor of which the detection performance is improved by reducing loss of light amount at an incident face and an emitting face of a projection lens and a light-receiving lens. SOLUTION: An incident angle of light incoming to a projection lens or a light-receiving lens to an incident face of the lens is set to an angle (e.g. 60°) or less at which its intensity reflectance is a predetermined value (e.g. 10%) or less at all positions of the incident face of the lens. Furthermore, an incident angle of light emitting from a projection lens or a light-receiving lens to an emitting face of the lens is set to an angle (e.g. 30°) or less at which its intensity reflectance is a predetermined value (e.g. 10%) or less at all positions of the emitting face of the lens.
