PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a particulate titanium oxide powder, which shows good dispersibility and high efficiency for transfer, storage, transportation or the like, and is easily handled. SOLUTION: The method for producing a particulate titanium oxide powder includes: a first step of obtaining a crushed powder by crushing a raw material titanium oxide powder with a crushing machine using impact or shear force; and a second step of obtaining a particulate titanium oxide powder by agitating the crushed powder by using an agitation machine.
