PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a window structure of a building that can restrain an opening of a new window sash frame from becoming smaller than an opening of an existing window sash frame. SOLUTION: An upper frame member 71 and a lower frame member 72 of the new window sash frame with heat insulating property are arranged on the outdoor side of an upper frame member 41 and a lower frame member 42 of the existing window sash frame in the building. The length h1 of the opening of the new window sash frame is made longer than the length h2 of the opening of the existing window sash frame. An upper sash cover 51 and a lower sash cover 52 with heat insulating property are provided for covering the upper frame member 41 and lower frame member 42 of the existing window sash frame respectively, and the upper sash cover 51 and lower sash cover 52 are connected to the upper frame member 71 and lower frame member 72 of the new window sash frame, respectively.
