PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute remote control excelling in operability without complicating the structure of a remote control transmitter, and also without performing a troublesome remote control setting. SOLUTION: In the state where an audio apparatus is connected to a PC, the PC executes a customization setting of a customization button of a remote control transmitter belonging to the audio apparatus. First, a user is made to select a button to be customized and, when the button is selected, the user is made to select a function assigned to the button. When the assignment of the function is ended, setting information according to the selection content of the user is created, and the setting information is transmitted from the PC to the audio apparatus.
