PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a gasoline base material reducing the blending quantity of anti-oxidant compared to a conventional one and having excellent oxidation stability. SOLUTION: In an outlet of an ethyl tertiary-butyl ether production apparatus, 1-25 ppm by mass of a phenol-based antioxidant and an amine-based antioxidant are blended in ethyl tertiary-butyl ether obtained from the apparatus.
