摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnesium alloy having high yield strength and also high tensile strength. SOLUTION: The magnesium alloy is composed of Mg-Zn-Y-RE (rare earth elements) based alloy containing Zn and Y as essential components, at least one or more elemens among La, Ce, Nd, Pr, Sm and Yb as the rare earth elements, and the balnce Mg with inevitable impurities. The alloy structure of the Mg-Zn-Y-RE based alloy has LPSO (Long Period Stacking Oxide), αMg phase and at least one or more compound among Mg-RE compound or Mg-Zn-RE compound. Further, the LPSO and the compound constitute a stack-layer structure, the thickness of the LPSO is 0.5-5 μm, and the thickness of the compound is 0.01-2 μm. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
