Provided is a bipolar battery current collector which includes a resin layer having electrical conductivity, and is formed so that, when at least part of the resin layer having the electrical conductivity reaches a predetermined temperature, the current flowing in the vertical direction of the resin layer having the electrical conductivity of the part that has reached the predetermined temperature is interrupted. Also provided is a bipolar battery using the current collector. The local heat generation of the bipolar battery can be suppressed to improve the durability of the bipolar battery by use of the current collector.
