The vehicle (1) has a smoothly closed underbody (2) adapted for high-speed travel and provided with a set of notches arranged on each other in a longitudinal direction. The notches exhibit a form of transverse waves or edge-closed local recesses. The notches exhibit length of 25 to 300 mm and depth of 2.5 to 250 mm. The edge-closed recesses are arranged in successive series in positions laterally shifted to each other. The notches are distributed outside front and rear pivoted bogies (4, 5) of the vehicle over the underbody.
