<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor storage device, capable of reducing deterioration of performances such as overall writing processing speed of the semiconductor storage device by reducing the risk of data loss, and a control method of the semiconductor storage device. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes a receiving part which receives a writing request from a host device; a recording part which holds redundant data generation/non-generation information; a writing part which writes data to a semiconductor storage element group and writes redundant data generation/non-generation information for the written data to the recording part; a first data extraction part which extracts data without generation of redundant data from the data held by the semiconductor storage element group; a first redundant data generation part which generates redundant data; a first redundant data writing part which writes the generated redundant data to the semiconductor storage element group; and a first redundant data generation/non-generation information update part which updates the redundant data generation/non-generation information for data with redundant data generated, which is held by the recording part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
