<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device, an information processing system, and a monitoring program, which have high possibility to detect an outbreak of failure of an information processing apparatus in advance. <P>SOLUTION: Usage mode information and trouble information are received from an image forming apparatus, and the usage mode information with which the same trouble information with this trouble information is correlated is sorted and totaled to create the trouble predicting formula for each trouble information. The trouble predicting formula is applied to compute a degree of trouble based on the usage mode information received from the image forming apparatus which does not receive the trouble information. When it is determined that the computed degree of trouble has the high possibility of an outbreak of failure, a maintenance notice is performed to the applicable image forming apparatus. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
