PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supporting structure of a drive shaft capable of absorbing the misalignment of a retainer ring with a bearing on the drive shaft side. SOLUTION: The retainer ring 11 is rotatably connected around a center axis P<SB>2</SB>of a pivot shaft 14 by inserting and fitting the pivot shaft 14 into a connecting hole 15 of an engine side bracket 12. When the misalignment that a center axis P<SB>1</SB>of the retainer ring 11 is inclined to a center axis 0 of the drive shaft 1 in the vertical direction is generated, the pivot shaft 14 is rotated in the connecting hole 15 to absorb the misalignment.
